Windsor-Essex Pride Fest is getting a funding boost.
The Ontario Trillium Foundation has announced a grant of $459,400 over the next 35 months to “reduce LGBTTQIA social isolation by providing social programs and activities.”
The program will help people who are isolated and allow them to connect with others in the community.
The OTF says the program will have an impact on the lives of 1,500 people in Windsor-Essex.
