Windsor doctor charged after allegedly touching patient inappropriately
Windsor police have launched a sexual assault investigation into a Windsor doctor who allegedly touched a female patient inappropriately.
Police began the investigation on Jan. 8, 2015. When officers went to the woman's home, she told police she attended her physician’s office earlier in the day and was allegedly touched inappropriately. Police say she is in her 30's.
The doctor went to police headquarters on Jan. 11 and he was arrested. He was subsequently released on a promise to appear and he had his first court appearance earlier this week.
Bassam El-Tatari, 42, from Windsor is charged with sexual assault.
