Travelers crossing at the Windsor-Detroit Tunnel can now use an app to pay for tolls.
The Detroit Windsor Tunnel app is now available on mobile devices in the iOS Store and on Google Play. The app was designed with the infrequent user in mind and will make the toll paying process more convenient. The app also features a discounted rate.
"Users download the free app, follow the prompts to register and purchase two to 10 trips at a discounted rate as low as $4.25 per trip," said Neal Belitsky President of the Detroit Windsor Tunnel in a statement.
All lanes at the tunnel will offer app payment.
