Windsor Assembly Plant is preparing for a major retooling and shutdown.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is investing $2 billion for retooling and the next generation minivan, including engineering and development, platform, plant investment and technology.

The 14-week shutdown starts Feb. 16 and lasts until May 25.

Over 800 new robots will be coming to the WAP body shop.

The plant has been running production 24 hours a day, six days a week, building 1490 vehicles a day since mid-2014 to build enough supply for dealers during the shutdown period.

Total production in 2014 was 374,817.
