A third Windsor city councillor has announced he won't seek re-election this fall.
Ward 4 Councillor Alan Halberstadt says after 17 years he's ready to retire from politics to spend more time with his family - including his wife Susan.
The 67-year-old admits he didn't particularly love his time on council, saying the workload is incredibly high.
Halberstadt isn't, however, ruling out a run for trustee with the public school board in this fall's municipal elections.
In hindsight, Halberstadt says he's most proud of his work at keeping city hall transparent.
