Peel Region Police are asking for help locating a 25-year-old Windsor man, who was allegedly involved with several ‘vicious’ home invasion robberies.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Rashid Ahmad of Windsor.

Police say two people were arrested in connection with a series of violent home invasions and jewelry store robberies that occurred in the Peel region between October 31, 2014 and December 23, 2015.

These acts were vicious and cowardly, say police. In some cases, officers say the accused parties used hand guns, duct tape, zip ties and a Taser to assault the victims which included elderly and children.

The Central Robbery Bureau dedicated six full-time investigators to tackle these violent crimes.

While the investigation remains open, two Brampton residents Niranjan Kalaichlvam, 32, and Shakyle Henry, 20, have been arrested and charged.

The Central Robbery Bureau has obtained a warrant of arrest for Ahmad.He is described as a south Asian male from Windsor, 5’9” tall, 157 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Ahmad also has a scar over his left eyebrow.
