Two Essex County men are facing 19 charges after a joint investigation by OPP road officers, the street crime unit and major crime unit.
Patrol officers responded to a call from a concerned citizen in Essex who witnessed suspicious activity at a home on Brien Avenue in Essex on Nov. 24.
Officers arrived and arrested two men at the scene.
Kyle Seres, 26, of Essex was charged with possessing a firearm obtained by crime, unauthorized firearm possession, unsafe storage of a firearm, break and enter and committing an indictable offence, possession of break and enter instruments, possession of stolen property over $5,000, possession of stolen property under $5000 x 5, theft of a motor vehicle and theft over $5,000.
Thiago Sousa, 27, of Leamington, was charged with break and enter and committing an indictable offence, possession of break and enter instruments, possession of stolen property over $5,000, possession of stolen property under $5,000 x 2 and theft over $5,000.
Both males will appear in a Windsor court at a later date to answer to the charges.
