A downtown Windsor landmark has met the wrecking ball.
Known for its ribs and sauces, Tunnel Bar-B-Q was a mainstay restaurant at the corner of park and freedom way for 73 years.
Celebrities and prime ministers were known to dine there on occasion.
The building closed last year, after it was purchased by the University of Windsor.
After the demolition, work will begin on the future School of Creative Arts.
Workers say the demo will take a number of days.
The restaurant closed in September.
