Transit Windsor’s bus fleet and shelters may be in line for a transformational overhaul.
Council rubber stamped a grant application process to the feds, which could see the city receive $10 million in matching funds from the government.
That is, the city will get $10 million if it spends $10 million on public transit.
Under the grant plans, and pending council approval, city would be able to buy 24 new busses and add 150 bus shelters.
