Windsor police are crediting tips from the public for helping catch a suspect wanted after a convenience store was robbed on Wyandotte Street East.

Police released a picture of 29-year-old James Bondy on Thursday. A warrant had been issued and police said he could be “armed and dangerous.”

On Sunday, at about 11:30 a.m., officers got information that a male matching the description of the suspect in the robbery was walking east in the 500 block of Wyandotte Street East.  

Police found the man, confirmed his identity and arrested him without incident. 

Bondy, from Windsor, is charged with Robbery.
