Police are looking for the public’s help, after 38 tires and rims were stolen from vehicles at an Amherstburg Chrysler dealership.

Amherstburg police were called to Racicot Chrysler on Wednesday, where they say suspects took tires and rims from two Jeep Wrangler Rubicons and seven Dodge Ram 1500 pickups in the early morning.

In total 10 BF Goodrich LT255 75 R17 and 28 Goodyear Wrangler P275 60 R20 tires from were stolen. The total value of theft is estimated at $41,767.60.

Police say surveillance video showed a white cube van entering the dealership around 12:30 a.m. Two other unidentified vehicles entered the lot a short time later. While the van was leaving, it struck a large sign, possibly leaving damage to the passenger side of the vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
