Three stolen guitars have been returned to a Windsor school after police questioned two teenagers.

Windsor police were called to Hugh Beaton Public School in the 2200 block of Chilver Road for a break and enter on Feb. 19 at 2:45 a.m.

Officers searched the building but nobody was located inside, no damage and nothing appeared to be missing.  Employees later found that three guitars were stolen from the music room.

Officers received information and through investigation were able to identify a 13-year-old suspect.   They also learned that the guitars were currently at a 17-year-old suspect's residence.

Police also spoke to the 17-year-old and his family members about the investigation. They say he was very cooperative, apologetic and remorseful, subsequently handing over the stolen instruments.

Both will be issued a Youth Criminal Justice Act warning.
