A teen from Chatham is facing several charges following a robbery at a Mac's Milk early Wednesday morning.

Chatham-Kent police say that around 12:55 a.m. Wednesday a lone male entered the Mac's Milk on McNaughton Avenue West brandishing a knife. The male who kept his face covered fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.

An employee of the store was not injured in the robbery.

Police descended on the area but were originally unable to find the suspect. Following an investigation police discovered the indentity of the suspect and took him into custody later Wednesday morning.

According to police a 17-year-old male from Chatham is facing charges of robbery, wearing a disguise with intent, and breach of probation.
