The 'sunshine list' of public employees earning over $100,000 at Windsor’s hospitals, post-secondary institutions and city offices was released on Thursday.

Windsor CAO Helga Reidel made $318,469 and development and health commissioner Ronna Warsh earned $214,327. City officials say the salary for Mayor Eddie Francis is technically below the $100,000 disclosure threshold but he has requested his total remuneration be released. He earned$131,317 and $9,351 in taxable benefits.

In top emergency services jobs, Windsor police Chief Al Frederick earned $207,740 and Windsor fire Chief Bruce Montone made $143,178.

There were at least 169 members of the Windsor police force on the list, including retired Chief Gary Smith at $176,648. In total, 47 constables also made the cut.

University of Windsor president Alan Wildeman earned $316,999.92 in 2012. Professor Neil Gold made $315,979.

Warren Kennedy, director of education at the Greater Essex County District School Board, collected $205,696.

President and CEO of Windsor Regional Hospital David Musyj made $275,380. A total of 72 WRH workers are on the list, 42 are unionized 30 are non-union.

Over at Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital, 62 employees made six figures last year.

Hotel-Dieu CEO Ken Deane’s total 2012 compensation is listed under London Health Sciences Centre at over 548,000, most of which involves his salary paid by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care for his assignment as supervisor of Hôtel-Dieu. The amount listed by LHSC includes compensation as CEO of Hôtel-Dieu Grace Hospital of $100,478.

The salaries are released in accordance with the Ontario Public Salary Disclosure Act.
