Student with knife taken into custody at Chatham school: police

Chatham-Kent police have taken a 17-year-old student into custody after police say he had a knife at John McGregor Secondary School.
Around 10:30 a.m. Monday morning, officers were called to the school on Cecile Avenue in Chatham for a weapons call.
Police say the school immediately secured the area and within minutes officers found the student and took him into custody without incident.
The incident is under investigation.
