Striking elevator workers were protesting outside the construction site of Windsor’s new family aquatic centre Wednesday morning.
About 16 workers were picketing, but only two of them work on the aquatic centre.
Members of the International Union of Elevator Constructors went on strike on May 1. This includes workers from IUEC Local's 96, 90 and 50.
Many other unionized trades workers decided to go home rather than work on the site after seeing the picket signs.
