Essex County OPP say a bus with 30 students on board went into the ditch Monday morning on County Road 22 near Puce.
No one was reported hurt.
Police say a there was a mechanical malfunction to the steering of the bus.
A spokesperson with the Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board says the bus was taking St. Anne Catholic High School students on a field trip.
Trustees will be notified about the incident and they have the option to ask administration to review the safety records of the school bus company, Stevenson Transport.
