Speed limit reduced to 30 km/hr in front of LaSalle schools

Speed limits in LaSalle are being reduced, effective immediately, in front of all elementary schools.

The speed limit will drop from 50 to 30 kilometres an hour in front of all six elementary schools.

The public is being asked to get familiar with new lower speed areas before the start of the school year.

Back in May, LaSalle council reduced the speed limit near Holy Cross Elementary School on Sandwich West Parkway, but now it is being extended to all elementary school areas in the town.
