Skiers and snowboarders hit the slopes at Boler

Share

Skiers and snowboarders are back in action at Boler Mountain.

The runs were busy on Thursday evening, kicking off the new season.

“I can spend time with my friends and the adrenaline boost, it’s just great,” said Khai Phi, a local snowboarder.

“It’s super fun to go.”

The slopes will be open Friday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. over the weekend.

“It’s only a 20-minute drive for me from downtown London,” said Lina Lalonde, another snowboarder.

“Something to do when we actually have snow is nice because the last couple of years, we haven’t had any snow and it’s been boring.”

Extended hours are set to start on Wednesday. Tubing will begin on Dec. 24.
