Windsor police say several long guns are missing after a break and enter at the west end Canadian Tire.

On Thursday at 7:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to attend the Canadian Tire located in the 2600 block of Tecumseh Road West for a break and enter report.

The complainant told police that he attended the store and found that firearm cabinet was damaged and a number of long guns were missing.

Investigation revealed that the break-in took place at approximately 4:45 a.m.

Police say the suspect was able to get on the roof and broke into the business by smashing a skylight on the roof.

The Target Base Unit continues to investigate the incident and are awaiting an inventory check determining how many firearms are missing.

The suspect is described as a white man, with a slender build. He was wearing light-coloured jeans and a grey hoody.

Police have previously reported two other separate gun thefts from Windsor Canadian Tire locations.

Canadian Tire emailed a statement to CTV News:
