A retired Harrow reverend has been arrested and charged in connection to sexual assault allegations dating back to the 1980’s.

According to Chatham-Kent police, Harry Brydon, 65, is charged with two counts of administering a noxious substance and one count of sexual assault dating back to 1986.

He has since been released from custody on conditions.

Police say Brydon served as a reverend at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, located at 18 Dolsen Road in Chatham, between 1984 and 1988. Officers say the victims were members of the congregation.

The investigation continues, and Chatham-Kent police want to ensure there are no other victims.
