Windsor police seized a replica handgun and charged a man with possessing a prohibited device.
On Monday at 6:45 p.m., members of the drug and gun unit were involved in an investigation of a male who may be in possession of a firearm and having an outstanding warrant for breach of probation.
The suspect was located in the area of Wyandotte Street East and Parent Avenue.
With the assistance of patrol officers, the man was stopped and placed under arrest without incident.
Officers searched the man and seized a black replica air soft handgun. The suspect was also currently under a number of firearm prohibitions.
Owen Cazes is charged with four counts of possessing a prohibited device (replica handgun) while prohibited.
