A large expansion is being planned for Reko International in Lakeshore.
The company is planning to build a manufacturing and innovation facility that will have more than 40,000 square feet of production.
The new facility will be adjacent to its current premises on Silver Creek Industrial Drive.
The company says construction will cost approximately $5.5-million and should be complete early in 2018.
The expansion will allow Reko to increase its productions of automation equipment, mold and machining services.
Reko currently employs about 200 people.
