The rainfall warning for Windsor and Essex County has ended, according to Environment Canada.
The warning was issued Sunday morning for extreme southern Ontario.
The forecaster says a low pressure system has been tracking through south of Lake Erie. Associated with the low, periods of rain are forecast to continue.
About 40 to 50 millimetres of rainfall amounts have been reported in the last 24 hours. Additional rainfall amounts in the 20 to 30 range are expected by early this evening.
Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
