The HMCS Hunter held an open house Saturday to showcase its new state of the art training facility.
The public was invited to visit the facility on Mill St. and explore the various jobs, trades, equipment, training and technology available within Hunter and the Royal Canadian Navy.
The new facility also has a crane, which can lower boats into the water. It's something they coudn't do at the old facility.
The day was an opportunity to attract new recruits.
