Windsor fire officials say a postal worker suffered smoke inhalation while attempting to put out an apartment fire on Sandwich Street.
The worker just happened to be there at the time, says Windsor fire.
Firefighters were called to the blaze at 3591 Sandwich St. Monday afternoon.
The fire is under control and all residents are out of the building.
Sandwich Street is closed in both directions.
