Windsor police are looking for the owners of several items after they say an arrest led to the discovery of suspected stolen property.

On Wednesday, officers with the target base unit observed a suspicious man in the 1700 block of Ford Boulevard around 5:26 p.m.

Police say the man leaned his bike against the rear of a residence and momentarily disappeared behind the building. When he returned, officers say the man placed items into bags on his bike and left the scene.

Officers gave chase and located the suspect in the 5400 block Lasalline Street. He was found to be in possession two pry bars and black elastic gloves. Through their investigation, police say the suspect gained entrance to the building by prying the door open.

John Miles, 32, is charged with break and enter and possession of break and enter tools.

Investigators say a search of Miles’s home resulted in the discovery of suspected stole property.  Victims of recent break and enters will be contacted by the target base unit in the coming days.
