Two men were arrested and Windsor police seized almost $40,000 worth of methamphetamine and cannabis marijuana after raiding a Rivard Avenue home.

A drug trafficking investigation on Wednesday led officers to stop a man driving an e-bike in the 2500 block of Rivard Avenue around 8:25 p.m.

The man driver was arrested without incident. After searching the man, officers located and seized a quantity of cash.

 

As part of the investigation, a search warrant was executed at a residence in the 2500 block of Rivard Avenue.

Officers located and seized a quantity of drugs, including 21.7 grams of methamphetamine and 3585.5 grams of cannabis marijuana. Police say the total street value of the seized drugs was $39,110.

A 42-year-old man from Windsor is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

A 41-year-old man from Windsor is charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
