Two Windsor men have been arrested after police seized almost $6,000 worth of drugs and a pellet gun.
On Thursday at 11:30 p.m., Windsor police patrol officers on routine patrol near McDougall Avenue and Wyandotte Street East saw a vehicle driving erratically.
Police say they saw a knife on the driver’s seat when they conducted a vehicle stop.
The 27-year-old driver also had a black Beretta pellet gun in his waistband, say police.
The driver was placed under arrest for weapons dangerous.
The 34-year-old passenger was also allegedly breaching his curfew conditions and was also subsequently arrested.
Officers seized seven Fentynal patches, eight Percocets, 24.2 grams of crack cocaine and five grams of cocaine and $1870 in cash.
The total value of the drugs seized was approximately $5760.
Devon Boe, 27, from Windsor, is charged with weapons dangerous, possess a firearm while prohibited, possession of fentanyl for trafficking, possession of cocaine for trafficking, possession of crack cocaine for trafficking and possession of oxycodone for trafficking and breach of recognizance.
Christopher Taylor, 34, from Windsor is charged with possession of fentanyl for trafficking, possession of cocaine for trafficking and breach of recognizance.
