Police have landed a major blow to the drug trade in Chatham-Kent, as officers seized $178,000 worth of narcotics.
Chatham-Kent police issued two search warrants Saturday, at a residence in the Town of Tupperville.
Officers seized an estimated $175,000 worth of cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamine and fentanyl. Also seized was a pickup truck, two cars, three motorcycles, five firearms and ammunition.
Police have charged 25-year-old Eric Dixon and Heather McAuley, both of Tupperville with:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cannabis Marihuana
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Fentanyl
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon
- Careless Storage of a Firearm
- Careless Storage of Ammunition
Matthew Dixon, 26, of Chatham was also arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl.
