Windsor police are searching for a suspect after two people were shot at a house party on Parent Avenue.

Police were called to the 1200 block of Parent Avenue on Sunday around 3:15 a.m. after numerous reports of gun shots fired in the area.

While heading into the area, officers located a male standing on the corner of Giles Boulevard and Parent Avenue.

Officers say the male appeared to be dazed and had a gunshot wound to his leg. Around the same time, an officer working at the hospital reported another male arriving at the hospital with a gunshot wound.

Investigation revealed that these two males were at a party in a residence located in the 1200 block of Parent Avenue.

An argument ensued between a male suspect and others at the party which quickly turned physical. At some point police say the suspect pulled out a handgun and fired shots at the victims and left.

Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect. A search warrant was later obtained and executed on the residence and a number of items were seized for further analysis.

Both victims were treated and released from hospital.
