Police say shotgun stolen from house in Essex

Provincial police are investigating after a break-in at an Essex home.

Essex County OPP officers say it happened at in 1900 block of South Malden Road on Sunday, sometime between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. while the homeowners were away.

A large quantity of property and a shotgun was taken from within the residence, according to police.
