Windsor police are still trying to identify a body found in the Detroit River near the shoreline Thursday.

They have released photos of the shirt and shoes the man was wearing in the hope the public might recognize them.

Police were called to the 3500 block of Russell Street around 5:30 p.m. Thursday.The body was pulled out and sent to London for an autopsy examination.

The man did not have any identification with him. He is described as a black male, about 20 to 30 years old. He was wearing a grey hoodie sweater, blue jeans and sneakers that are red and black.
