Windsor police say they have identified two suspects who allegedly stole a poppy donation box at a Tim Hortons on Remembrance Day.

Officers were called to the coffee shop in the 3000 block of Tecumseh Road East on Wednesday for a theft report.

Investigation revealed that a man and a woman entered the store together at approximately 6:20 a.m. and approached the front counter.

Police say while the employee wasn't looking, the male suspect allegedly grabbed two poppy donation boxes and exited the store.  The female left shortly after the male that she came in with.

Police say they received numerous tips from the public after releasing pictures captured by surveillance cameras.
