Chatham-Kent OPP have released the name of a 16-year-old pedestrian involved in a collision on Moraviantown First Nation.
Officers were called to Centre Street around 1:40 a.m. on Saturday.
Police say preliminary investigation reveals a black Chrysler 300 had turned south onto Centre Street when the vehicle struck three pedestrians who were walking on the road.
As a result of the collision, Bailey Jacobs, 16, of Moraviantown First Nation has succumbed to her injuries.
Jordi Whiteye, 17, of Moraviantown First Nation suffered minor injuries and has been released from hospital.
Tanner Whiteye, 24, of Moraviantown First Nation has been transferred to a London Hospital and is listed in critical condition.
The driver of the motor vehicle, a 21-year-old male from Moraviantown First Nation was not injured.
OPP traffic investigators attended the scene to assist.
This incident remains under investigation by the Chatham-Kent OPP, in partnership with Moravian Police.
Police are seeking anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or was in the area at the time.
