Windsor police arrested a 32-year-old man and seized $84,000 in drugs after an investigation.

On Wednesday at about 5:30 a.m., police were dispatched to a suspicious auto call in the area of 10200 block of Menard Street. 

Patrol officers arrived and saw the vehicle stopped with the running lights on near the curb with a portion of the vehicle sticking out into the travelled lane. 

Officers say that the driver was slumped unconscious over the steering wheel and drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. 

Officers woke the male and found that he had care and control of the motor vehicle while allegedly being impaired by drug.  The man was subsequently placed him under arrest. 

They searched the man and located and seized 3.7 grams of marijuana and $1740 cash.

Officers then seized 111 grams of suspect crack cocaine, 733 grams of suspect cocaine, three cell phones and drug paraphernalia from the vehicle. 

The drugs seized are valued in excess of $84,000.

Derek Callahan, 32, from Windsor is charged with impaired care and control of a motor vehicle by drug, possession of marijuana and two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance.
