Essex County OPP has charged 48-year-old David Friesen after search of a residence turned up a large quantity of marijuana Thursday.
According to police, members of the OPP Drug Enforcement unit and the Community Drugs Action Team executed a search warrant at an Oak Street East residence and seized marijuana and cannabis resin.
Police says the estimated street value is $150,000.
OPP says Friesen is charged with producing a schedule two substance (cannabis marijuana), producing a schedule two substance (other than marijuana), possession of a schedule two substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a schedule two substance, cannabis resin over one gram.
Friesen will appear in a court on Jan. 16 in Leamington.
