OPP say a 74-year-old woman was the lone victim in a Lakeshore house fire on Tuesday.
Sonya DeRose died in her home in the 1500 block of Essex County Road 22. The fire broke out just before 10:30 p.m. Tuesday,
The Ontario Fire Marshal, Lakeshore fire and OPP are still investigating what cause the blaze.
Essex Country Road 22 between Willow Wood Drive and Rourke Line has reopened, after emergency crews had it closed.
