Talbot Road was closed for several hours between LaPointe Street and Wilson Side Road in Lakeshore following a collision Tuesday evening.
Provincial police say the crash occurred just before 8 p.m. when a pickup truck and a Cadillac collided head-on.
The driver of the pickup was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries while the Cadillac driver suffered non-life threatening injuries.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators were on scene late into the night to try and determine the cause of the collision.
The roadway has since reopened.
