Windsor police are investigating another serious crash involving a motorcycle.

A minivan and a motorcycle collided at around 7:45 p.m. Sunday on Grand Marais Road just west of Central Avenue.

Officers arrived and saw a black motorcycle with heavy damage and a blue Chevrolet Orlando with damage to the driver's side of the vehicle.

There were two adult occupants in the Orlando at the time of the collision.

Police say the male motorcyclist was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

No one in the van was hurt.

No names have been released.

The Accident Reconstruction Unit and Forensic Identification Unit attended and processed the scene.The accident remains under active investigation.
