A massive Goodwill store in Windsor will officially open its doors to the public Thursday, just as holiday shopping season begins to heat up.
It's the not-for-profit organization's first retail store to open in the area.
The 35,000ft Goodwill facility on McDougall Street just off Tecumseh Road features a large retail space as well as a drive-thru donation drop-off area.
Roughly 35 jobs have been created as a result and all profits from the retail shop go to career counselling and job preparation programs.
