One of the men charged in a fatal east Windsor collision is facing a new offence.

In a Windsor courtroom Tuesday, Windsor police charged 22-year-old Calvin Joseph Crosby with operation exceeding over 80 mg.

The charges are in connection to an April 4 crash on Lauzon Road where the Chevrolet Blazer Crosby was driving was involved in a collision with a Chevrolet Impala – causing the SUV to roll. As a result, 20-year-old Katie Leigh Robson of LaSalle, a passenger in the Blazer, lost her life.

Crosby was previously charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death.

The Impala was found several blocks away with a flat tire. The driver of that vehicle, Kyle Matthew Colthurst, 28, is charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in death and refusing to provide a breath sample.

None of the charges have been proven in court.
