Two men have been charged after they allegedly breaking into an Elsmere Avenue home.

A caller contacted Windsor police Saturday night around 9:30 p.m. after witnessing two men on bikes acting suspicious at a nearby house in the 1200 block of Elsmere Avenue. The caller told police that the two men knocked on the front door, then walked to the rear entrance and allegedly forced it open.

When officers arrived they witnessed lights being turned on and off from the inside. Officers also report finding damage to the rear door.

Police called into the house and advised anyone inside to come out. The two men exited the building and were arrested.

Kevin Houle, 28, is charged with break and enter to a residence and failing to comply with condition of judicial release. Brian Lazenby, 28, is also charged with break and enter to a residence.

The two will appear in a Windsor court at a future date.
