Brian Masse has won the Windsor-West riding yet again, according to unofficial results.

He defeated Conservative Henry Lau and Dave Sundin from the Liberals.

This will be Masse’s sixth term as an MP and he was also a city councillor before that.

Masse says he got involved in federal politics to talk about the environment, auto and the border. Since then he has been the official opposition critic for many different issues, including the Canada-US border and most recently the Great Lakes.

With the win, he is expected to continue to push for single-sports betting to be legalized.

Masse says his favourite part of the job is helping his constituents in Windsor with things like getting their employment insurance on time, pensions and reuniting with families.
