Chatham-Kent police have issued an arrest warrant for a Moraviantown man following a high speed chase Saturday evening.
An officer attempted to stop Peter Hopkins, 34, on Queen St. around 7:30pm after what the officer believed was a domestic situation involving a man and woman.
Police claim the driver refused to stop and fled in a Dodge Caravan.
The pursuit was stopped for public safety reasons.
Hopkins is wanted on the following charges:
- Flight from Police
- Dangerous Operation of a motor vehicle while Disqualified
- Breach of Recognizance
- Drive while suspended
