A yearlong child exploitation investigation came to a head Wednesday with the arrest of a Windsor man.
The Windsor Police Internet Child Exploitation Unit says they’ve been actively investigating the online habits of Daniel Nicholson.
On Monday, police says they received a credible tip that led to a search warrant being executed. As a result, Nicholson was arrested without incident.
The 48-year-old is charged with possession of child pornography and accessing child pornography.
Officers are reminding parents to remain vigilant with their children’s online activities.
The investigation is ongoing and further charges are pending.
