A woman followed her own stolen car and called police, leading to the arrest of two people on Wednesday.
Officers were called about a theft of motor vehicle in the area of Aylmer Avenue and Assumption Street around 11:30 a.m.
Police say the complainant saw suspects inside her vehicle, which was reported stolen on Monday. She followed the vehicle, reported it to police and patrol officers arrived moments later.
Officers located and stopped the vehicle in the 600 block of Wyandotte Street East. Two men were arrested without incident.
A 19-year-old man from Windsor will be charged with theft, possession of stolen property, and outstanding warrants.
A 20-year-old man from Windsor will be charged with possession of stolen property.
