A Windsor man has pleaded guilty in the death of his brother.

36-year-old Darcey Woodrich pleaded guilty to aggravated assault in connection with the death of his brother at a home on Elm Avenue on Oct 21, 2017.

Court heard Woodrich put his brother in a choke hold while they were play wrestling in the backyard and his brother became unconscious.

Corey Ryan Woodrich died of his injuries. He was 31.

He is remembered as a loving son, a loyal brother and friend, an aspiring musician and charismatic leader of the bands “Siren Phase” and “Anonymous Bosch.”

Darcey Woodrich will be back in court in January for a sentencing hearing.
