Windsor police are looking for a 28-year-old woman in connection with a gunpoint robbery last Wednesday and are warning the public she is considered armed.

Officials say a 46-year-old woman was at an ATM in the 2600 block of Tecumseh Road East around 11:20 a.m. on Sept. 10 when she was robbed.

The suspect was reportedly seated on the floor of the lobby, and after the woman withdrew cash from the machine, the suspect got up, pointed a handgun and demanded the money.

A friend waiting for the woman in his vehicle saw the altercation and ran into the lobby but the suspect fled the scene on foot.

The incident was captured on security cameras and the suspect has been identified as 28-year-old Keimonty Grayer.

Grayer is wanted for robbery with a weapon and failing to comply with the condition of a judicial release. She is also wanted for theft stemming from another investigation.

She is described as a black female, 5'2" talll, 100 pounds with brown hair pulled back in a puff on top. She was wearing a white or grey zip up sweater and carrying a bag or purse. The firearm is believed to be a black, semi-automatic pistol, possibly a 9mm.

She is considered to be armed and police are asking the public not to approach or interact with her, but instead to call police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4305 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 519-258-8477.
