Chatham-Kent police are looking for the people who took after-hours pictures on top of a downtown construction site.

Police sent the photos to CTV News, saying they were first submitted to BlackburnNews.com through a private Facebook message.

The photos are of an individual who they say appears to have been trespassing at the construction site of a high-rise condominium. A police spokesperson says they're keeping copies on file.

“In looking at these photos, we certainly do not encourage or support their actions,” says Const. Renee Cowell. “Those in the photos are not only engaged in dangerous behaviour but also committed the criminal offence of trespassing.”

Cowell says police believe they've found those involved.

“We believe that we have identified those responsible and are currently trying to contact them to warn them of their risky and illegal behaviour,” she says. “We would like to remind everyone to report suspicious activity to police immediately.”
